We are seeking an experienced Principal Solutions Architect to lead application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives for enterprise clients. This role combines deep expertise in software architecture, AWS cloud services, and consulting capabilities to help organizations assess, modernize, and migrate mission-critical applications to the cloud.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience conducting Application Assessments, Architecture Reviews, and Modernization Assessments, while partnering closely with business and technical stakeholders to define scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions. You will play a key role in shaping modernization roadmaps, driving technical decisions, and enabling engineering teams throughout implementation.

• Lead Application Assessments, Architecture Reviews, and Modernization Assessments for enterprise customers.
• Define AWS reference architectures aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Recommend migration and modernization strategies based on the AWS 7Rs framework.
• Facilitate technical workshops, discovery sessions, and architecture reviews with customers and internal teams.
• Produce As-Is and To-Be architectures, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and modernization roadmaps.
• Develop business cases, effort estimations, risk assessments, and cost models for cloud transformation initiatives.
• Guide engineering teams during implementation, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and best practices.
• Promote AWS Well-Architected principles across security, reliability, performance, operational excellence, sustainability, and cost optimization.
• Act as a trusted advisor for customers, translating business challenges into scalable and resilient technical solutions.
• Influence technical and business decisions across multiple stakeholders, including executive leadership.

• Proven experience designing architectures for mission-critical enterprise applications.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud migrations, application modernization, and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Hands-on experience conducting Application Assessments, Architecture Reviews, and Modernization Assessments.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS services, including Compute, Storage, Databases, Networking, Integration, Security, and Observability.
• Experience defining modernization strategies using AWS 7Rs.
• Solid knowledge of architecture frameworks and best practices, including AWS Well-Architected Framework, Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), DDD, C4 Model, FinOps, and OWASP.
• Experience with Cloud Native and DevOps practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, and Observability.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including SOLID, Design Patterns, Clean Architecture, Refactoring, CQRS, and Event-Driven Design.
• Knowledge of cloud security practices, including IAM, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, Zero Trust, encryption, secrets management, and secure architecture patterns.
• Exposure to Generative AI solutions using technologies such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker AI, RAG, AI Agents, Vector Databases, and LLMOps.
• Fluent English communication skills for collaboration with global teams and customers.
